Mets:: Monday Mets Report
As a long-time New York Mets fan, I thought I'd follow their baseball season each week with an update. Yeah, I picked a great year to do this. Thanks to the Reds and the Braves, the Mets started 0-5 for the first time in over 40 years. They were about to make it 0-6, trailing Atlanta 1-0 in the 8th, when Beltran and Floyd hit back-to-back home runs and the Mets won (finally!) 6-1. Current record: 1-5
