:: This week's photos were all taken at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Both of my brothers went to school there, and these were taken on a visit. Enjoy! :: Pick the Derby winner? Neither did I. But plenty of people did have Giacomo, including 2 bettors who picked the entire superfecta (the first four horses in the correct order of finish), which paid the handsome sum of $1.7 million. Nice. :: The new flick Kingdom of Heaven topped the box office this weekend, with about $20 million in sales. It's an epic movie, in the vein of Gladiator and Troy, set in the 1100s against the backdrop of the Crusades. I got to see it, and I enjoyed it immensely.
:: The May contest is now online. I don't want to "force" the issue, but click here you should. |
