Dear se7enty6ix.com reader,

Tired of seeing my lame attempts at photography? Want to see something besides the usual clouds and trees? Wish you could post your awesome pictures online?

Here's your chance.

Sometime in late March/early April, I'm going to take a week or so and post the best of other people's pictures. The only catch is that you have to send me your pictures before I can post them.

Here's the guidelines:

1. Pictures must be landscape in orientation (that means sideways, not up-and-down) and sized to a width of 760 pixels. (If you can't re-size it, don't worry. I'll take care of that stuff for you.)

2. Pictures have to be sent via e-mail, so you either need a digital file of the picture or a scanner. Try to keep each picture's file size around 1MB or less so our e-mail accounts don't get angry with each other. (A good tip is to set the picture's resolution at 72 dpi. That sucks for printing, but it's perfect for the web.) You can send up to 5 pictures, but only 1 per each e-mail, please.

3. Pictures must be your original work, but they can be of anything/anyone you want. I can't promise that all the pictures I get will be posted, but unless it's too fuzzy, grainy, small, or vulgar...it'll almost certainly make the cut.

Of course, if one of your photos is posted, you'll get full credit for the pictures you submit.  Remember, you can send up to 5 photos (only one per each e-mail you send though) and the sky's the limit. But hurry -- the deadline is Sunday, March 13.
