 76-WORD REVIEW [AUG 10]

A semi-sequel to Cox's impressive debut, Glass revisits some of Night's main characters yet manages to reveal several still-hidden secrets. This work is the recollection of Ezperanza Alice Gorst, who unexpectedly finds herself in the center of a decades-long conspiracy. Gorst holds the key to unraveling the tapestry of deception, but is she willing to do so, even at great cost? While stretched at times, the story never stops building momentum. Another superb effort from Cox.

 76-WORD REVIEW

Revenge drives Edward Glyver, who blames all the wrongness of his life on one man. He plans to exact revenge via murder. So Glyver painstakingly prepares and hones his rage, wishing to ensure that his scheme meets with success. But has fate truly intertwined these two lives, or has Glyver fallen victim to his own trap? For a debut novel, Cox has crafted a remarkably well-written piece of historical fiction that resonates with basic human emotion.
