 76-WORD REVIEW [MAR 10]

Based on the long-lost journals of America’s 16th President, Grahame-Smith recounts Lincoln’s career as one of our nation’s most prolific vampire hunters. Although the concept is admittedly bizarre, Grahame-Smith does a clever job of intertwining the history of the 1800s with the mythology of vampires and what we know of the life of Lincoln. The result is an often entertaining read that should thoroughly satisfy the niche audience that will find this kind of thing appealing.
