 76-WORD REVIEW

Through unexpected events, a man named Conway and three others find themselves in a place called Shangri-La – a place that defies imagination and hides a startling secret. As Conway unravels the mystery he will have to choose what to believe. Hilton’s book has the distinction of being the first paperback novel ever published, and although the narrative style is a bit dated, the framework of the story holds up surprisingly well. A quick, very enjoyable read.
