 76-WORD REVIEW [JAN 12]

Sherlock Holmes and his colleague Dr. John Watson quickly become immersed in an enigmatic pool that only gets deeper with each stroke. Murder and conspiracy strike at every turn, and with precious few allies, the duo struggle to stay ahead of their enemies. Horowitz performs admirably, portraying Holmes and Watson faithfully and constructing a story with enough mystery to keep the pages turning. Not perfect, but certainly passable, and a welcomed return for the great detective.
